Congratulations to this years, and first ever, Ruck for Recovery Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any student who is covered under one or more of the following criteria: Dependent of a service member or first responder regardless of discharge type, or a student who is entering the service through enlistment, direct commission, or ROTC program in their enrolled school, or any other valid service entry program, or has been or will be going into the volunteer or paid first responder under any existing and accepted field being, but not limited to, EMT, Police, Firefighter, etc.
Connor McCollum is a graduating senior from North Pocono High School where he played football, and volunteers at the Madisonville Twp Volunteer Fire Department. His father John also serves as Fire Police for Madisonville TWP. Connor will be continuing his education at Penn Tech where he will study welding and fabrication.
Congratulations Connor. We have been assured we picked a great person very worth of this scholarship by many in the community!
